The SATO LP 100R continuous forms (CF) laser printer is a great choice for printing large volumes of labels, card stock, and unique or complex documents.

SATO America, a leader in barcode printing and labeling products, has teamed up with Printer Connection of Fort Worth, Texas with a new agreement for the SATO LP 100R continuous form (CF) laser printer. Printer Connection, one of the US leaders in Industrial Printer sales, has agreed to become Sato America’s sole LP 100R Master Reseller. Printer Connection’s role is to develop new sales across customers and key targeted IT reseller organizations to increase the customer base of this printer.
SATO continues a success story of over two decades with this technology and within this part of the industrial printer market. The SATO CF laser printer dominates a role within the retail industry. Retail customers have a large install base of SATO systems for retail garment tagging. SATO Labeling converts large roll stock of card material, prints color logos, and produces fan-fold, tractor-fed print stock for price tags. Retailers load this stock into their SATO CF unit and print the variable data and bar codes for the hang tags. This output gets loaded onto the SATO Cutter/Stacker. Thousands of price tags are cut to exact size and accumulated in sequential order within the stacker tray for the operator.
The technology of flash-fusing CF printing is certainly not new. For many years, resellers sold the Printronix L5000 printer family and the InfoPrint 62 CF laser printer that reliably produced labels and other unique or complex stock. Now selected resellers can join with Printer Connection and offer the LP 100R, service, supplies and labels to customers nationwide.
This SATO solution offering provides a unique opportunity for the IT reseller. Customers can source the labels, printer and supplies from the same vendor, and eliminate contention and ‘finger-pointing’ during any problem resolution. The annuity revenue on supplies and print stock is another reseller opportunity.
